Boys Highlights
  • Senior sprinter Matt Terrell led the Ben Davis boys to a repeat team title with wind-legal wins in the 100 (10.47 +1.8) and 200 (21.29 +0.3), and an anchor leg on the victorious Ben Davis 4x100 (MW#1 41.17, with Harding close behind at 41.52).
  • The Ben Davis 4x400 squad also helped the effort with a 3:17.15 clocking, holding off Fort Wayne Snider second at 3:18.24.
  • Carmel's 4x800 blazed a US#6 7:41.79, leading three other teams under 7:50.
  • Fort Wayne Northrop senior Corey Shank scaled 16-03.00 for gold in the pole vault
  • Fishers senior Drew Shields held off Zionsville senior Dylan Sorensen, 4:11.36 to 4:12.45 in the 1600.
  • A tight battle in the 110H, with South Bend Adams senior Logan Griffith's 14.07 (+1.7) edging Elkhart Central senior Quontrel Wiley's 14.09.
  • Warren Central senior leaper Derrick Spight topped 7-00.00 to outlast Anderson Highland junior Derrick Hill (6-10.00)
  • More great distance marks from Joe Holahan (Bloomington South sr) with a 1:52:26 800, and North Central frosh Futsum Zeinasellassie with a 9:11.97 3200 victory

Girls Highlights
  • Pendleton Heights junior Ellie McCardwell, ranked US#1 in the pole vault heading into the weekend, claimed the state record by clearing 13-06.25 to top Katie Veith's 2006 13-06 mark.  McCardwell ended up US#2 with that effort after Shade Weygandt cleared 14-0 at the Great Southwest Classic in NM
  • Another "Ellie" turning in strong field event work was Batesville junior Ellie Tidman, clearing 5-08.00 for the HJ win.
  • Park Tudor soph Abby Farley was a 2:12.42 winner in the 800.
  • Megan Ranegar (Valparaiso sr) took the 3200 with a 10:43.95, leading Culver Academy soph Waverly Neer (10:53.82) and Wheeler soph Christina Blair (10:57.59) under 11 minutes
  • FW Canterbury junior Kate DeSimone ran 4:56.98 for the 1600 victory
  • More strong field marks were turned in by Rebecca Neville (Merrillville sr) 19-01.75 (+2.6) LJ and Tori Bliss (Portage soph) 46-11.75 SP.
