- - I didn’t feel that good. I knew it (sub 4:10) was over after the 2nd lap and then just went for the win.
- - It’s really awesome. I came here two years ago to run the mile and I think I came in eighth or ninth and last year we ran the 4 x 400 so I didn’t get a chance to run (the mile), so I wanted to come back this year and win.

- I felt very sluggish in my pre-race sprints
- I was hoping to run 4:48, but when I was ahead of that pace, I decided to go for Hasay’s time (US leading 4:44.12 coming into the weekend)
- I started running in the 7th grade for Greenhill School.
- During track, 4 or 5 miles is my longest run, but it was more like 9 during cross country. I ran about 35 miles per week during XC, but a lot less now during track.
