The Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas (CCCAT) released its pre-season state rankings.
In the girls 5A voting, SO#2/US#18 Keller, the 2006 state silver medalists, are ranked #1 by the coaches. On the boys side, defending state champ SO#2/US#9 The Woodlands sits atop the state rankings. The SO#1/US#7 Southlake Carroll boys and SO#1/US#7 girls hold down the runner-up slots.
In girls 4A, it's SO#3 Hereford with the highest vote total, followed by Vista Ridge. The Lockhart boys earned the #1 ranking, ahead of Seven Lakes.
