Southlake Carroll, with Coach Robert Ondrasek (left), was all smiles at the awards ceremony. The following Monday they were even happier, as a scoring error was corrected by the UIL and they were declared champions with 70 points.

Unfortunately for all involved, they were given gold, and did not know until Monday after the meet about a scoring error which moved Southlake Carroll ahead of them.
