The Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas (CCCAT) released its Week #2 state rankings.
In the boys 5A voting, defending state champ SO#2/US#9 The Woodlands holds down the #1 spot. On the girls side, SO#2/US#18 Keller, the 2006 state silver medalists, remains #1. The SO#1/US#7 Southlake Carroll boys retain the runner-up slot while the Kingwood girls jump to #2. The Cinco Ranch boys and girls are both ranked #3.
No change near the top of girls 4A, as SO#3 Hereford and Vista Ridge sit 1-2. The Lockhart boys lead the 4A poll with Frisco Centennial moving to #2
