Day 2 Highlights - FULL RESULTS Boys - Girls- Sherroid Evans (Dulles TX sr/Wings TC) followed his fast prelim Friday with a blazing US#1 21.38 final
- Veronica Jones (Poteet TX sr/Dallas Gold TC), 2nd in Friday's prelims, rocketed to a US#1 24.40 200 in the final, with Taylor Houston (Lawrence E. Elkins TX sr/Wings TC) at 24.74
- Waxahachie TX sr Sam Gagliano, 2nd in morning prelims, ripped a US#1 7.89 60H, topping Lancaster TX sr Kendall Hayes (7.92). Hayes, last spring's US#3 in the 110H, ran to a then-US#1 8.02 in prelims
- World Youth 100 champ Prezel Hardy (Ellison sr/Eagles Pride) zipped a then-US#1 6.80 60 dash in Sat. a.m. prelims, then followed with a 6.81 final (Michael Bryant, Eagles Pride, 6.87 in 2nd)
- Tiffani McReynolds (Pembroke Hill MO sr/KC High Performance) also got a US#1 60H on the girls side in prelims with a 8.68, with Sharpstown TX sr Ryesa Whigham at =#2 8.80, then improved it to 8.66 in the finals with Whigham at 8.73
- US#2 7.58 in the 60 dash prelims for Krystal Wynn (Covenant Christian/Euless Trinity TX sr), but in the finals it was Wynn just 4th in 7.62 behind Ashley Collier (Fort Worth Dunbar TX sr/Dallas Gold TC) 7.59, McReynolds 7.60, and Jones 7.62
- Strong 400s went to Blessing Mayungbe (Lamar TX sr/Wings) US#4 55.88 (Chrishuna Williams 55.99) and Torin Crowder (Allen TX sr/NTT) US#3 48.82 (Joshua Washington 48.92)
- Chaney Turney (Lone Star PV/Hays TX jr) took the PV in 11-03.75
Day 1 Highlights-2 #1s in 200 prelims - In Boys 200 meter qualifying, Sherroid Evans (Dulles TX sr/Wings TC) ripped a US#1 21.72 200, with Clinton Collins (Fossil Ridge TX sr/Ft Worth Select ) hitting a US#3 22.01
- Girls 200 prelims were hot too, with Taylor Houston (Lawrence E. Elkins TX sr/Wings TC) tearing through a US#1 24.89 and Veronica Jones (Poteet TX sr/Dallas Gold TC) close behind at US#2 24.96.
- Joshua Washington (Ft Worth Select) led a slew of boys into the US top 10 for the 400 with his US#2 49.02 qualifier.
- Chrishuna Williams (N. Texas Cheetahs) was also US#2 in Girls 400 qualifying, her 57.17 the only sub-58 in the prelim.
- Lorena TX sr and Texas Elite PV standout Mark Thomas, already US#1, stayed consistent over 16 feet with his 16-02.75 winner.
- McArthur TX sr Amber Jones, competing for Southern Eagles, reached 41-05.50 to win the girls SP
