HIGHLIGHTS

Hightower sr Isaiah Sweeney, 2nd in the state 5A 100 last year, clocked 10.54 to edge teammate sr Cleon Davis in 10.61. Sweeney also took the long jump with a mark of 23-11.
Hightower sr Robert Simmons captured the 200 in 21.55, bypassing the 400, where he is the US#1 returnee at 46.40 in 2007, in order to go for relay points
Hightower boys claimed the 4x100 in US#3 41.15 (with Sweeney & Davis) and the 4x200 in 1:25.38 with the foursome of Sweeney, Davis, Simmons and Clyde Lee who are US#1 with a prior 1:24.59
FB Marshall dropped down to 3:15.24 for 4x400 gold, followed by Willowridge in 3:17.01 and Hightower in 3:18.08 (with Simmons and Lee)
