Klein Forest sr Mark Barnes, a recent TCU signee, swept the 100-200 with US#3 10.57 and US#3 21.1h College Park sr Philip Raaf clocked a US#6 37.5h to beat a strong 300 hurdle field
 

Klein jr Josh Poe cleared 6-8 for the high jump title. Poe, just 5-10 himself, sits at US#2 with his earlier 6-10.5 at Tomball.
 Seven Lakes jr Chase Rathke has been on a tear this season. Today he was unpressed in clocking 9:34.5h for the 3200 crown

 

Magnolia ran 10:20.86 for Distance Medley gold and 3:36.79 for the Sprint Medley title. The DMR team was (left to r, in order) sr Anthony Jordan (3:09+ 1200), sr Joseph Ponce (50.1 400), sr Nick Hermes (2:03+ 800) and sr Michael Cook (4:15.9). In the SMR, it was (in order) Ponce, Hermes, sr Dayne Jordan (far right) and Cook (1:56+).


Michael Cook's wicked kick, which propelled him to bronze in State 5A last year, is rounding into form as he was with the pack with 400 to go before exploding to finish in 4:22.59
