Westfield sr Jamele Mason finished well ahead of his 110 hurdles pursuers, clocking US#1 14.11. He came back with a 38.18 to claim the 300 hurdles crown.

  • Westfield sr Jamele Mason clocked US#1 14.11 in the 110 hurdles and returned for another victory with a 38.18 in the 300 hurdles
  • Westfield boys, including Jamele Mason on the 1st leg, blasted a US#1 3:19.76 for 4x400 gold, holding off a charging Westbrook squad in 3:19.98
  • 16-0 pole vault clearance by Kingwood sr Greg Gabrish, a new personal best
  • Elsik girls ruled the short relays, capturing the 4x100 in 47.35 (Klein Collins 47.71) and the 4x200 in 1:40.93 (Eisenhower 1:41.16)
  • It took just 41.90 and 1:27.70 for the Westfield boys to rack up wins in the 4x100 and 4x200
  • In the discus, Humble jr Matt Kosecki unleashed a throw of 183-8
  • Eisenhower girls saved their best for last, claiming the 4x400 title in a sterling 3:51.98
  • In the 100 hurdles, Kingwood jr Kathryn Lupton powered home in 14.5h (FAT malfunction)
  • Klein Collins sr Brittane’ Gaines dominated the 100 field with a 12.04 effort
  • The Woodlands jr Drew Butler pulled away in the 2nd lap, breaking the 800 tape in 1:55.23
  • Kingwood sr Kristen Hanselka struck gold in the 3200 with a time of 10:57.22
  • The Woodlands jr Reed Connor capturd the 1600, running on the leader's shoulder for nearly 3 laps (64.1, 2:10.8, 3:18.0) before hitting the accelerator and cruising home in 4:21.67
