Took 4 of the top 5 spots to easily win third straight Concorde District meet at Burke Lake in Burke, Va., outscoring runner-up Robinson, 23-58 on the 2.98-mile course. Top five teams: Oakton (23 points, 15:40 per runner average); Robinson (58, 16:11); Chantilly (99, 16:28); Westfield (16:33); Herndon (138, 16:51).
 
Note: No. 7 runner Andrew McCullen was battling the flu. Conditions were less than ideal as it was the fourth race run on the burke lake course in two days. It was a very rainy day with temperatures in the mid 50's for the first time this season.

Easily won 6th Region II-AAA title in a row, beating SE Bubble team Maryville on a rolling/hilly course that is about half grass and half soft mulch.

Note: Times were slow because of the week-long rains, which left the ground very soft. Air temp was perfect. No. 7 runner was sick. No. 1 JV runner (Cory O'Lear) would have finished 17th in varsity race after running 17:41.3.

Had a perfect score to win the Liberty District Meet at the 2.98-mile Burke Lake Course, which has a fair amount of asphalt and a gradual incline from 1.5 miles to 2.25 miles.

Note: Because of the amount of asphalt on the course, runners can't wear spikes. So, the rain during the week made the grass and trail portions of the last mile pretty slick.
