Easily won 25-team Montgomery County Championship at Gaithersburg High School, 51-77, against runner-up Bethesda-Chevy Chase by placing 4 of the top 13 and 5 in the top 22. Some much needed rain hit the area the night before the race, but the course wasn't affected much. Top finisher Neal Darmody set a new county course record, running 15:41 and breaking the former record of 15:48 held by Andrew Jesien (now a standout at Virginia).

In a conference championship that amounted to a dual meet between two of the best teams in the Southeast, Enloe beat SE Bubble team Broughton, 27-34 to win the CAP-7 Conference Championship on Wednesday. Only 1 runner from another school broke into the top 11 places.  Enloe had 4 of the top 7 and their No. 5 runner was 11th. Broughton had 4 of the top 9 and their No. 5 runner was 10th.
