Class 4A Highlights - New Bern, without the services of suspended junior Fuquawn Greene - the NIN 200 champ and a relay mainstay - still took the boys title with 46 points. They passed Mt. Tabor with a final event 4x400 victory (3:14.47), also won the 4x800 (7:48.11) and got an individual win from Anthony Hendrix in the 800 (1:54.12).
- Southeast Raleigh took the girls meet on the strength of wins in the 4x100 (47.33) and 4x200 (1:39.14), and 18 points in the jumps by Chrishawn Williams
- Southeast Raleigh sr Wayne Davis II dropped his time down to US#2 13.58 (+0.2w) to win the 110H
- E.E. Smith sr Ben Major topped RJ Reynolds sr Lamont Jackson in a great 300H, US#7 36.84-37.04
- Chapel Hill sr Taylor Gilland rolled to a big PR 9:01.68 in the 3200
- Butler sr Aslynn Halvorson again doubled the discus (139-07) and shot (44-02)
- Mt. Tabor sr Hunter Furr swept the 100 (10.65, -2.1w) and 200 (21.37, -1.0w)
- West Charlotte sr Nyosha Bryant doubled the 100 (11.92, -1.3w) and 200 (24.12, -1.3w)
- Myers Park girls ripped a 9:11.20 4x800, edging West Johnston 9:12.88
- Jack Britt jr Sanura Eley-O'Reilly took the 400 in 54.07
- East Chapel Hill jr Carolyn Baskir topped North Meck sr Kim Spano in the 1600, 4:56.87 to 5:00.54, but Spano came back to take the 3200 in 11:05.07
Class 2A Highlights - Sherice Walker scored 34 points, winning three events plus a fifth-place finish, to lead Cummings to the decisive victory. She swept the triple jump (39-09, +0.4w) and long jump (19-03, +1.0w), took the 100H (14.50, -2.8w), and was 5th in the 300 (47.03, after leading qualifying in 45.73).
- Salisbury's victory was fueled by Romar Morris, who won the 100 (10.80, -0.7) and 200 (21.85, +0.3)
- Monroe's Janieyah Collins took the 300H (45.52), and added a 2nd and 3rd in the 200 and 100
- Granville Central's Briana Haith won the 400 in 56.85
- Bunn's Marissa Bellamy took the 200 in 24.69 (+0.6w)
- Monroe's Issac Blakeney took the triple jump by more than two feet with 48-04.50w (+2.3)
- Cardinal Gibbons' Halsey Merritt swept the 1600 (5:16.82) and 3200 (11:46.64)
- Cedar Ridge won a close 4x100 (49.73) and rolled to a big win in the 4x200 (1:43.91)
- Solid marks in the girls throws from Gayshawna Watkins from East Rutherford (39-11.50 in SP) and Tremonisha Taylor of Southern Vance (141-00 DT, winning by 26 feet).
- R.L. Patton's John Schilkowsky won a great 800 battle with Starmount's Aaron Combs, 1:54.04-1:54.79
- Wilkes Central's Chase Miller doubled the 1600 (4:29.77) and 3200 (9:58.68)
- Favored David Shaw (St. Pauls) false-started out of the 110H finals, but came back to beat Cummings' Jonathan Watlington (the 110H winner) in the 300H, 39.09-39.57
- East Lincoln went 1-2 in the HJ, wiht Spenser Sydney over Keith Rendleman, 6-08 to 6-06
- Northside's Kenneth Rowland won the SP at 58-07
- Orange's Andrew Byrd 181-01 to win the DT
Class 3A Highlights - T.C. Roberson's girls pulled out a narrow 6-point victory, pulling away to the final margin with a 3rd-place finish in the 4x400 relay. The effort was highlighted by a 1st (5:00.31) and 2nd (2:17.01) in the 1600 and 800 from Laura Hoer, a win from Sequoia Watkins in the DT, and won the 4x800 relay.
- Marvin Ridge claimed the boys title by 17 points, including a trio relay wins in the 4x800 (7:50.54), 4x400 (3:21.03), and 4x100 (42.15), and a victory by David McCuiston in the 800 (1:54.90). Diego Lawrence added two 2nds in the LJ (23-07.25, +1.9) and 200 (22.49, -3.6w).
- Winterville South Central soph Danielle Butts soared US#4 40-11 (+1.9w) to win the girls TJ
- Southwest Guliford sr Cordell Livingston swept the hurdles, winning the 110s in 14.31 (-0.5w) and 300s (39.03), and added a 3rd and 4th in the TJ and LJ
- Carver sr Brandon Hairston won the 400 (48.51) and 200 (22.40, -3.6w)
- Dudley sr Avery Griffin took the LJ (24-01.50w, +3.3) and TJ (47-07.50, +1.6w). He also led 100 qualifying, but false-started the final
- Forestview sr Stormy Kendrick swept the 100 (12.11, -1.9w) and 200 (25.13, -2.0w)
- Olympic sr Steven Bollinger took the 1600 (4:20.15) and 3200 (9:37.16)
