After running a hand-timed 1:30.4 #5 all-time last Sunday, Phyllis Francis dropped it to 1:30.28 at the CHSAA City meet on 2/10.
She ran the Colgate Games series this season, winning the 800 in all 5 preliminary meets with a best of 2:12.7h. On 2/3, she won the finals in Madison Square Garden in 2:15.15 FAT.
Her talented 8th grade sister Claudia (4:57.51 mile at NSIC & 2:12.57 at USATF Youth Ntl last summer), cleaned up in the Colgate middle school 800, capturing the final in a season-best 2:14.67.
