- Junior Jeremy Elkaim of team champion Livingston runs 5:32 for final 1.1 miles to pull away from Colin Richmond of St. Rose to win boys title in course record 16:05 (Tyler Udland of Millburn set the record of 16:17 last year). Richmond runs 16:17 to take second and match the old record. .
- Livingston boys put five in the top 21 to beat runner-up St. Rose, 49-61.
- Senior Diana D'Achille of Morris Knolls, who won as a freshman, returns to the winner's circle in 20:09 to lead her team to the championship, 36-40 over runner-up Livingston. It's the sixth straight year a Morris Knolls runner has captured the girls race.
