JAM went under 40 seconds for the third time this year, defending their title and taking down the 4x100 COA field in a Penn Relays record 39.91 - VIDEO

Thursday - A Mixed Day for Prep Track Queens - STORY BY STEVEU


Girls Distance Night: Sveinsson 4:46.85, Morgan 9:31.32 3k, Tatnall 11:49.37 - Chelsey Sveinsson TX continues stellar soph year with 12+ second mile win.  2008 Mile champ Stephanie Morgan OH nips Emily Jones MA for 3K title.  Both were US#1 times.  Tatnall DE gets big lead and holds off Southern Regional NJ for big upset in US#2 time - DMR Video3000 video - Mile video.


Roosevelt girls 1 for 3 in Relays - Eleanor Roosevelt MD girls qualified fastest into Championship of America with a dominant 46.11 in the 4x100, but did not make the COA in the 4x400 or 4x800.

New USR 8:43.12 4x800 for the girls of Eleanor Roosevelt MD (right, photo John Nepolitan), in a runner-up effort to Holmwood Tech JA's 8:41.92. Then Roosevelt came back and burned a 3:37.16 for the 4x400 victory.
