This is the fifth running of the revived New York Relays.  It used to be a warmup meet for the Penn Relays.  Now it is a showcase event in the sparkling new Icahn Stadium on Randalls Island facing Manhattan

Entries - Some of the featured performers are Phyllis Francis (400 and 800), Charlene Lipsey (400), Danbury CT boys (4x1600) and Bronxville NY girls (4x1600)

The NY Relays are the first chance for athletes to qualify for the high school events at the Reebok Grand Prix at Icahn Stadium May 30. That is the meet that saw Usain Bolt's world record 100 meters last year.  The RGP will feature events for scholastic teams in the following events; Boys 4 X 400, 4 X 800, Invitational 100m, Invitational 800m, Girls 4 X 100, 4 X 400, and the Invitational 800m.  Three slots in these events are reserved for qualifiers from the NY Relays.  For more information contact Paul Moser .
