Leading Day 2 Highlights
- The day begins with US#1 steeplechases and from Suffern jr Shelby Greany 6:43.03 2k and Fairport sr Pat DuPont 9:07.02 3k, with DuPont completing 3200/3k ST double with almost identical times
- Big PR 2:07.46 for Hempstead jr Charlene Lipsey, leading three more under 2:10
- Another Dalilah Muhammad (Benjamin Cardozo sr.) 400H win over Elizabeth Mott (New Rochelle sr.), this time in slightly slower Fed final (57.90-58.49).
- Williamsville East 8th-grader Kala Allen wins 400 in 55.24
- Roslyn soph Emily Lipari makes it a double with 4:30.58 1500 triumph
- Warwick Valley girls 8:56.71 4x800, just off their US#2 time
- Half Hollow Hills West sr Kyle Merber takes 1600 in 4:11.67
- Suffern's Jen Clayton finishes long weekend by anchoring 4x100 win in 47.64, and winning LJ
- Sheepshead Bay boys rip 41.39 4x100

Leading Day 1 Highlights
(Divisional finals in most events, with qualifying to overall state title events Saturday)
- Benjamin Cardozo sr Dalilah Muhammad US#1 57.81 400H over New Rochelle sr Elizabeth Mott US#2 58.01 in D1
- Newburgh boys rip 3:15.55 4x400 in D1
- Roslyn soph Emily Lipari 9;37.53 3k over deep, talented field

Event Flash Reports
- G-D1 400H - Dalilah Muhammad (Benjamin Cardozo)who started 1 lane outside of reigning US #1 Elizabeth Mott (New Rochelle) and would not let her close the stagger. Muhammad held on for the win with a national leading time 57.81 to Mott's 58.01.
- B-D1 4x400 - A strong 2nd leg by 400 winner Troy Faulkner gave Curtis a huge lead and forced the field to chase. Newburgh would real them in and go on to win in a swift 3:15.55 over Ramapo 3:18.44.
- G-Fed Champs 3000m - A large pack was still together at the 1600 meter point when Sam Roecker(Burnt Hills) threw in a move that split the field up. With 1 lap to go it was down to two as Roecker was neck and neck with defending champ Emily Lipari(Rosyln). A 68 last lap would give Lipari the win in 9:37.53 with Roecker 2nd in 9:42.16 and Saratoga's Hannah Davidson 3rd in 9:49.21. Six runners would break 10:00.
- B-Fed Champ 3200 - A slow early pace - 4:38 at 1600 - had most thinking a fast time was out but multiple lead changes over the final 900 would find Lee Berube(Ticonderoga) and Pat Dupont going nose to nose down the final 100 with Dupont getting the win in 9:07.56 to Berube's 9:08.37.
- G-D1 LJ - After a 2nd in the triple jump, Suffern's Jenn Clayton finished off her busy day (triple jump, 200 trials and 4x100) with a win in the long jump with a 19-01.50 leap.
- B-Fed Champs PV - Brian McGovern(Mt St Michaels) missed the indoor meet due to illness and had following the weather delay was the only vaulter to clear 16' and then took 3 good attempts at a new state record 16' 5-1/2"
B-D1 400 - Troy Faulkner (Curtis) runs in his 1st ever New York championship and wins in 47.64 - B-D1 4x100 - Ramapo comes from behind on the strength of Kevin Malivert's flying anchor leg to take the division title in 41.78 over Middle County 41.87. Top seed Sheepheads Bay ended up 5th in 42.25.
- G-D1 DT - Melissa Kurzdorfer (Lancaster) gets the first half of what could be a sweep of the throws with a 146-07 win.
- G-D1 400 - 8th Grader Kala Allen (Williamsville East) wins the unseeded section and takes the division title in 55.61
- B-D1 800 - Zac Suriano(Shenendehowa) only gets to the lead in the last step to catch early leader Lawrence Campbell(Peekskill) 1:54.52 to 1:54.59
- B-D2 800 - Philipp Ross (Port Jefferson) crosses the line 1st but gets DQ'd for drifting out down the final 100 and Kevin Bronson South Lewis) gets the win in 1:57.68
- G-D1 800 - Charlene Lipsey (Hempstead) jumps to the front from the gun then holds off a fast closing pack to win the Division 1 title in 2:12.25 over Sarah McCurdy( Bayshore) 2:13.11, Emily Menges (Garden City) 2:13.17, and Michelle Riley(Saratoga) 2:13.17
- G-D1 4x100 - Indoor sprint relay champion Suffern takes the short sprint relay here by an eyelash over Boys and Girls 47.78 to 47.79
- G-D1 1 4x400 - County rivals Pine Bush and Warwick Valley go 1 - 2 with pre race favorite Boys and Girls 3rd. Pine Bush 3:54.37, Warwick 3:54.56, Boys and Girls 3:56.75
- B-D1 TJ/LJ - Triple Jump and Long Jump Indoor Champ Albert Johnson of Corning adds the outdoor division crown to his resume with a 48-07.50 leap then comes back to take the Division 1 Long Jump with a 23' 2-3/4" jump
- G-Fed Champ PV - Three girls clear 12' with Michelle Quimby (Shenendehowa) getting the win on fewer misses with Camille Ginyard (Vestal) 2nd and Linda Hadfield(New York Mills) 3rd
- G-D1 TJ - Sametra Kelly (Edison Tech) takes the Division title with a 38-07 leap, but is doubtful for tomorrows Federation final as she hurt herself landing in the pit.
- G-D2 TJ - Olivia Weeks (Elmira Notre Dame) takes the small school Division 2 title with a 38-06 jump, the 2nd longest of the day
- B-D1 SP - David Gross of Brockport had the best throw of the day with a toss of 56-10.25
- B-D1 DT - Vincenzo Chiariello (Msgr. Farrell) takes the Division title with a 167-02 before the Division 2 was held up due to weather
