La Reina, in preparation for the upcoming XC season, took 26 girls and 10 chaperones up to Mammoth Lakes for its annual running camp! As coaches, we hope that camp goes off without a hitch, and is successful. I can honestly say that this was the best running camp we have had in all my years at La Reina! From the great trail running, to the adventurous activities (kayaking, mountain biking, and rock climbing), and of course the highlight of camp, meeting top distance runners Deena Kastor, Meb Keflezighi, Ryan Hall, Sara Hall, Josh Cox, and others, I couldn’t have scripted a better camp!
