The Stanford bound Tenforde will join Powell, Riley and Co next year but right now he has a couple of big races ahead of him and is my pick to win. Celedonio Rodrique only ran 9.43 (9.39 3200) as a junior but has improved dramatically and had a stunning upset win in the Cal state
meet with a huge margin before the second runner. He comes into this race with a trainload of momentum and could win.

Rohantinsky is by far the highest placing returnee (4th) and has the fastest track time (9.11). This season he is undefeated, but has not faced competition of this caliber and his times have not been impressive. Still he has to be considered one of the favorites to win on Saturday. Californians Mack, Leon and Willingham all seem to be peaking perfectly. Johnson has greatly improved and could grab one of the coveted 8 spots. A darkhorse to keep an eye on is Juan Reyes of Arizona. Also the Montana runners are looking for respectability against their West Coast foes. Good luck to all.
