College and Elite

DyeStat is all high school, all the time, but there are "DyeStat graduates" of interest to our community and our community also follows track and field anywhere. This page reports on selected news of college and elite track and field.

August 2005 - Rieti - AR for Lagat, PR for Webb in 1500.
August 2005 - IAAF World Championships - "DyeStat grads" lead USA youth movement, with 19-year-olds Allyson Felix and Tianna Madison winning gold.
January 2005 - Houston Half Marathon - 15-year-old Nichole Jones enters on a lark and runs a stunning time.
July 2004 - London Grand Prix - Alan Webb PR's in 4th place finish
July 2004 - Alan Webb talks to Pearl Watts about his breakthrough season as a pro
June 2004 - Prefontaine Classic - Alan Webb returns to the scene of his historic HS mile record as the world leader
June 2004 - Ostrava Czech Republic - Alan Webb is world 1500m leader after 4th straight PR
May 2004 - Alan Webb gets the monkey (er, gorilla) off his back - "Today was the day it came together. I can move on now."
