Top 10 HS Milers PR Progression - Boys

February 7, 2006 -- Ever wonder how the top milers PR’d on the way to their high school best?  Some made big jumps and others steadily progressed.  For example, the biggest jump to sub 4:00 was 6.8 seconds by Tim Danielson (4:06.2 to 3:59.4) and the smallest was 0.3 by Marty Liquori (4:00.1 to 3:59.8).

NOTES:
- as of 2/1/2006
- includes 1600 conversions
- shows 1500s for Rupp since that’s the official distance in Oregon
- includes indoor and outdoor marks
- many thanks to Jack Shepard for providing additional marks, revisions and many of the early career times
