Warwick Valley girls win a bet with their coaches.
When the Warwick Valley NY girls won the distance medley and set a new national record at the Nike Outdoor Nationals the girls cheered, the parents cheered and the coaches, well they cheered too, but then they realized that it would soon be time to own up on their promise to the girls. Before the race, their coaches promised the girls that if they won, they would each make a sacrifice. Coach Furst would shave off his mustache and Coach Candia would save his head. They did it! |
