Lee Evans-Olympian and Coach presented the 400meter awards.
Lee Evans, two-time Olympic gold medallist, set a world record in the 400-meters at the 1968 games that stood for over 20 years. He was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that set a world record in winning the gold medal in Mexico City. He is currently head coach at Southern Alabama University. (From University of South Alabama web site.)

Coach Evans has just released a book entitled "The Last Protest." Coach says it is filled with history and his experiences based on his diaries that he kept throughout his athletic career.
