Team USA grabs 3 relay golds

SCOREBOARD - Gold medal leaders are Kenya 6, China 5, and 4 each for USA, Estonia and Russia.

  • Day 6 Coverage - Mike Kennedy tracks the races and Jim Spier the field events.
  • M-4x400 final - USA 3:03.76 closes the meet in a rout over Russia 3:05.13 with Quentin Summers, Justin Oliver, Bryshon Nellum and Chris Carter.
  • W-4x400 final - USA 3:29.01 completes a relay double with a decisive victory over Nigeria 3:30.84 after Brandi Cross passed Nigeria in leg 2 (left photo by Doug Speck) Also carrying the baton for USA were Jessica Beard, Sa'de Williams, and Nicole Leach.
  • W-4x100 final - USA romped to victory in 43.49, with France 44.20 up the track. The American squad was Jeneba Tarmoh, Alexandria Anderson, Elizabeth Olear and Gabby Mayo.
  • M-4x100 final - Jamaica 39.05 won a close 3-team battle over USA 39.21 and Great Britain 39.24.
  • M-110H final - Darius Reed 13.64 +1.5 is 6th. Artur Noga POL 13.23 was an easy winner.
  • W-1500 final - Erin Bedell was 10th with a PB 4:20.01. Irene Jelagat KEN won by nearly 4 seconds in 4:08.88.

  • Day 6 Coverage - Relays conclude the meet.
  • Day 5 Coverage - USA advances to finals in all four relays. Darius Reed makes 110H final.
  • Day 4 Coverage - Chris Carter (400H) wins gold!!! Bronze for Rebekah Noble (800) and Tiffany Ofili (100H) - Gabby Mayo (200) is 5th - John Hickey (SP), Erin Bedell (1500) advance to finals.
  • Day 3 Coverage - Two more silvers, this time to Nicole Leach in the 400H and Justin Olivers in the 400. Also, US sprinters, hurdlers advance in 200 and 100H rounds. Later, Gabby Mayo and Chris Carter position themselves for run at Gold Friday with semifinal wins in the 200 and 400H.
