Michael Coe reverses Foot Locker finish v. A.J. Acosta
Coe is US#1 indoor this year and US#7 all time

Cabrillo Lompoc CA sr Michael Coe 4:07.30 moved on top at the half and pulled away late from Ciaran O'Linaird of Ireland 4:09.41. A.J. Acosta CA, who edged Coe in the Foot Locker cross country championships last month, was third in 4:10.32, with Dan McManamon fourth in 4:10.72. Coe claimed US#1 indoor this year and US#7 all time.
200m - Gauson- O'Lionaird - BRD - White - Mac
400m - 61.8 - same - Acosta in 7th.
800m - 2:05.9 - Coe-BRD-O'Lionaird-Acosta 4th, moved to 3rd right after.
1000m - 2:35 - Coe - O'Lionaird - gap field by 10 yards.
1200m - Coe and O'Lionaird pulling away, gap field by 20 yards
1400m - Acosta sill 3rd and closing well. A.taye moving up

AJ Acosta - Acosta had on a "Johnny Damon Sucks" shirt when he stepped on
the track before taking it off as he was announced. "I'm not from here so I
thought I could hype up some fans from Boston," he said after the race.
Already some showmanship from the HS senior.
Michael Coe - "I felt good out there. I got clipped a little bit but it
didn't effect me much. I hope to get my times down by May and June, but for
only January, I'm happy. it's my first indoor race ever. It's a great
meet, the crowd really gets way into it."
