Meet Sanction

The Montgomery Invitational is a sanctioned meet for Maryland and bordering states: DC, DE, PA, VA

The Millrose HS Mile

The Montgomery Invitational is an official qualifying meet for the Millrose HS Mile. Only the top twelve(12) boys & girls mile entries will be accepted to run in this race. All entries must include verification of performances including date, time, and meet. (performances from last year are acceptable)

Sportsplex Entry & Meet Schedule Information Entry to the Sportsplex will begin at 8:00 a.m., the coaches' meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the first event will begin at 9:00 a.m. All athletes and coaches must enter through the lower entrance in the back of the Sportsplex. Teams will be directed there upon arrival. A list of final entries, heats, and a tentative time schedule will be emailed to coaches. The organizers will try to keep the meet running as efficiently as possible!
Meet Admission Admission will be charged and all spectators must enter through the upper entrance at the front of the Sportsplex. Admission will be: $5.00. All athletes must arrive with coaches or be in uniform or they will be charged admission.
Food & Drink The PG Sportsplex has a wide variety of food and drinks available for sale and numerous concession stands will be open. However, No food or drinks may be taken out of the stands . Water will be provided for the athletes in the bullpen and in the field event area.
Facilities & Support The facility has ample restrooms but no locker rooms will be available
All competition areas are rubberized "Martin 2000" surface and up to ¼" spikes are acceptable. Spikes are not allowed to be worn in the stands for any reason. Any athletes willfully disregarding this request will be scratched from further competition.

A paramedic and athletic trainer will be on site throughout the meet.

Awards - 3½" custom presentation medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in all events.
- sculpted trophies will be presented to the winning teams in all relays
- sculpted trophies will be presented to the outstanding male and female performers of the meet as selected by the games committee.
Entry Information Entries to the Montgomery Invitational will be accepted from December 11, 2005 - January 8, 2006.
