The Nike Team National regional rankings are the basis of the NTN team selection process. The top two teams in each region at the end of the season will be invited to compete in the Nike Team Nationals in Portland Dec. 3. The third and fourth place teams in each region are considered for the four national at-large selections. |
BOYS |
1.Fayetteville Manlius (NY): 6 of 7 back from NTN #2 national team and runaway regular season.
2.Christian Bros (NJ): top 4 back plus excellent frosh from state champ and #12 Super 25 team.
3.Morris Hills (NJ): top 6 back from #5 NE team after excellent track season.
4.Manheim Township (PA): Elite Miller twins and 4 other solid runners combine for deep squad.
5.Coatesville (PA): 4 of 7 back plus key transfer for #6 NE team.
6.Saratoga Springs (NY): excellent top-2 plus improving talent down the line.
7.Warwick Valley (NY): school’s best team ever should duel for state runner-up.
8.Ridgewood (NJ): Most of team back after outstanding track season paced by 4:12 miler.
9.Msgr. Farrell (NY): NYC Catholic league champs return deep squad after excellent track season.
10.Brockton (MA): close state runner-up to Newton No. has 3 of 5 back plus young talent. |
GIRLS |
1.Saratoga Springs (NY): defending NTN champ still deep and talented even with two athlete departures.
2.Roxbury (NJ): #2 NE and 9th at NTN has 5 of 7 back.
3.Hilton (NY): 5 of 7 back from #7 NE after extraordinary track season.
4.Suffern (NY): return 5 of 7 and much improved after excellent track season.
5.Shenendehowa (NY): 5 of 7 back from state runner-up team.
6.Msgr. Donovan (NJ): #8 NE loses top runner but next 6 back with more experience.
7.Bethlehem (NY): #3 NE team loses top 2 but still deep with 4 of 7 back and new talent moving up.
8.Bay Shore (NY): #4 NE team loses top 2 but still deep with 4 of 7 back and new talent moving up.
9.Concord-Carlisle (MA): top 6 back from state runner-up team hoping top girl rebounds from injuries.
10.Allentown Cent Cath (PA): 6 of 7 back after excellent track season |
