Bianca Knight 11.38 100m is US#1 for year and she is fastest into the finals. Cordera Jenkins 13.56 110H and Kamorean Hayes 160-10 DT also advance with best marks of round.

  • G-100 semi - Bianca Knight 11.44 -0.5 is fastest of the round, with Ebony Collins 11.53 also qualifying for the final finishing second to Krasucki Franciela BRA 11.46 in another heat.
  • G-DT - Harding NC soph Kamorean Hayes 160-10 was the best of 12 qualifiers for the finals.
  • B-100 semi - Devin Mays CA 10.65 -1.5 advanced to the finals, with Isaiah Green just missing at 10.66. Fastest of the round was Aikines-Aryeetey Harry GBR 10.41 +0.1/
  • G-400 heats - Brandi Cross TX 53.76 was the third fastest of six heat winners behind El Jack Nawal SUD 52.22 and Martinez Aymee CUB 53.43. Elan Hilaire MD 56.92 did not advance.
  • B-400 heats - Bryshon Nellum CA and Zach Chandy CA each won their heats in the same time of 47.90. Two other heat winners were faster -- Kirwa Julius KEN 47.35 and Al-Nour Adam Mohammed SUD 47.38.
  • G 100 Heats -Ridgeland MS soph Bianca Knight 11.38 +1.8 was the fastest of 24 qualifiers for the semis later today; it was also the fastest 100 meters of the year by a US high school girl. Ebony Collins CA 11.60 +1.7 also won her heat. Other fast heat winners were Krasucki Franciela BRA 11.39 +1.1, Calvert Schillonie JAM 11.40 +1.3 and Jno-Baptiste Anika ANT 11.49 +1.9.
  • B 100 Heats - Devin Mays CA 10.61 +2.8 and Isaiah Green CA 10.72 +0.9 (right, photo by Joy Kamani) advance to semifinals later today. Fastest qualifiers were Aikines-Aryeetey Harry GBR 10.38 +0.6, Kumamoto Takafumi JPN 10.42 +1.5 and Biedman Keston TRI 10.48 +0.8.
  • B-110H semi - Cordera Jenkins TX 13.64 -0.9 advanced to the finals in the same time as the other heat winner, Al-Molad Ahmad KSA.
  • B-110H heats - Dickinson TX jr Cordera Jenkins 13.56 +1.2 won his heat with the second fastest time of the round behind Brathwaite Ryan BAR 13.34 +1.6. Semis later today.
  • G-HJ - Desirae Gonder CA advanced to the finals among 12 girls who cleared 5-8.5.
  • G-1500 heats - Nicole Jones TX ran 4:33.31, missing the last qualifying spot by 0.42 second.
  • B-SP - Darius Savage CA 60-4 finished 10th.
  • B-Octathlon - Michael Morrison VA finished the first day with 2929 points, tied for 15th. The leader was Sabino Cleiton BRA with 3389 points.
