Washington Irving--On being a mother.....
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials, heavy and sudden, fall upon
us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice
with us in our sunshine, desert us when troubles thicken around us, still will
she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate
the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
A Mother's Day Message from Natalie....
"Mom,
you are more than just my mother, you are my friend. Whether we're
shopping together, going out to eat or just watching a movie at home,
I love spending time with you and I'm happy you are my Mom.
Mom, no matter where life may lead me, I will always be thankful for
who you are--a person I can admire, a woman I can turn to, the mother
I will always love."
A Track and Field Mom....
A track and field mother loves her child no matter what the performance....it's
smiles and hugs no matter what!
The Loucks Games saw many mothers,
cheering, waving, yelling, praying, crying and, of course, kissing
