The queen of high school shot put (she has set the indoor and outdoor national records this year and owns the four longest shot put throws ever in the US) had to sweat a bit, but doubled in the throws here. Red Oak TX sr Michelle Carter trailed until her last throw in both events. In the discus, she nudged sophomore sister D'Andra's 154-0 PR to second. Colorado champion Sarah Stevens was second in shot and third in discus.
