Tri Valley jr Heather Iatauro took the lead early and won as she pleased. Running on only 4 days practice after a break from cross country, Iatauro slowed down late with quarter mile splits of 76, 76, 78, and 82 seconds. She said she is aiming to get under 5 minutes and hope for an invitation to the Millrose Games high school mile.
