Class 2A

Boys 3200: Laury Paul of Wright City cruised to victory in 9:30.97, with Roger Morse (Highland 10:00.73) edging Josh Peoples (Lawson 10:01.04) for second. Zach Layton (West Platte 10:06.83), Turner Slagel (Ash Grove 10:10.07), TJ Matthews (Malden 10:11.77) Tray Lange (Cole Camp 10:13.94) and Bobby Soper (Vienna 10:17.02) were the other medalists.

Boys 4 x 800: Principia, St. Louis ran 8:04.75 to win with Carrollton (8:06.13) edging Lawson (8:06.61) for second. Mt. Vernon (8:21.45), Cuba (8:21.49), Catholic, Springfield (8:24.34), East Newson (8:26.31), and Macon (8:27.95) completed the medalists.

Boys HJ: Chris Brown (Dixon) lept 6-8 to edge Chris Millentree (Lexington 6-7) for the title. Nathan Milligan (Mark Twain 6-4) took third on misses from Alex Clawson (Brookfield). Steven Hille (Steelville 5th 6-2), Glenn Groom (East Buchanan 6th 6-2), Joe Gillig (Hermann 7th 6-2) and Andy Vandevender (Trenton 8th 6-2) completed the top eight.

Boys LJ: Ryan Criglan (Malden) lept 22-4.25 to win with Roscoe Robinson (Westran) second (21-10.25) and Chris Brown (Dixon 21-5.25) third. Chris Barnes (Lutheran, St. Peters 20-11.25), Fred Tayler (Maplewood-Richmond Heights 20-10), Alex Boonyakiti (El Dorado Springs 20-9.75), Andy Vandevender (Trenton 20-9.5) and Drew Huckey (Clark County 20-6.25) completed the medalists

Boys SP: Andy Oaker (Steelville) highlighted day one proceedings with a big 63-8 SP win. Jerad Tipton (Skyline) was second at 52-0 and Doug Norman (Stockton) third at 50-10.25. Fourth went to Jonathan Lucas (Monroe City 49-7) while William Coleman (Mound City 49-6.25), Luke Jaster (Lutheran, St. Peters 49-6), Nathan Honse (Vienna 46-9.25) and Ryan Herzog (South Harrison 44-4.25) completed the top eight.

Girls 800: Kelly Rafferty (Lawson) swept past the field in the second lap to win in a well-paced 2:20.37, with Summer Campbell (College Heights Christian, Joplin) second at 2:20.83. Megan Hudson (Crystal City) was third at 2:21.69 with Amanda Bragg (East Newton) fourth at 2:22.43. Kristin Austin (Southern Boone County 2:23.11), Terry Phillips (St. Mary's, Independence 2:23.24), Kaylyn Franke (Mark Twain 2:26.13), Mary Reed (Penney 2:27.26) completed the medalists.

Girls 1600: Megan Hudson (Crystal City) ran 5:05.99 to shade Terry Phillips (St. Mary's, Independence 5:07.30) for the title. Megan Kowalik (Wright City 5;15.62) was third with Lori Forck (Blair Oaks, Jefferson City 5;20.85) and Katie Berkbiger (Pleasant Hope 5;21.78) fourth and fifth. Jessic Nichols (Louisiana 5:24.44), Jordan Esry (Penney 5:24.85) and Emily Beaver (College Heights Christian, Joplin 5:27.84) completed the medalists.

Girls HJ: Lisa Vengels (Dixon) lept 5-5 to win the title from Ashley Wilbourn (North Platte 5-4). Brooke Hamilton (El Dorado Springs) lept 5-3 to take third on misses from Lindsay Farris (Blair Oaks, Jefferson City). Fifth went to Kayla Piley (Lamar 5-2) over Precious Selmon (Crystal City 5-2) and Megan Davis (California). Liz Triggs (Monroe City 5-0) was eight.

Girls TJ: Courtney Shuman (Crystal City) lept 37-3 to win by almost a foot. Jelessa Stafford (Lexington) was second at 36-4.25 and Lachelle Livingston (Metro, St. Louis) was third at 35.-1.25. Lindsay Biermann (North Platte) was fourth at 34-8.5, edging Megan Davis (California 34-8). Kalya Piley (Lamar 34-4.5), Tomie Nevill (Cabool 34-2) and Jalyn Salmons (North Calloway 33-11) completed the top eight.

Girls SP: Rachel Travis (Lutheran, St. Peters) launched the ball 42-4.25 to edge out Julia Russell (Mountain View Liberty), also over 40 feet at 41-11.25. Katie Evans (Putnam County) was third at 39-11.25 and Jasmine Kassanavoi (Lawson) was fourth at 38-3.5. Fifth went to Danielle Doty (New Bloomfield 38-3.5) and sixth to Ashley Wallingford (College Heights Christian, Joplin 35-10). Teaven Taylor (Mount Vernon 35-0.5) and Trisha Sprague (Gallatin 34-11) completed the medalists.

Class 1A

Boys 3200: David Goeglein (Lutheran, Kansas City) defended his title with a 9:48.82 cruise. Thomas Hamer (Norborne) was second at 10:19.03 with Grant Brown (Lone Jack) third at 10:26.58. David Baker (Chamois 10:39.64) was fourth and Kevin Sunderman (Tarkio 10:42.83) fifth. Michael Rodenberg (Orrick 10:45.43), Patrick Jennings (Stanberry 10:52.35) and Josh Kornburst (Northwestern Mendon 11:03.52) completed the medalsts.

Boys 4 x 800: Saxony Lutheran pulled away to an 8:18.10 win, with Cass-Midway 8:25.23) outduelings Stewartville (8:26.43) for second. Lutheran, Kansas City (8:34.10) was fourth in front of a tight pack of Slater (8:35.46), Rich Hill (8:35.73), Tarkio (8:37.86) and Greenwood (8:38.27).

Boys PV: Alex Lohman (South Holt) cleared 13-0 to win on misses from Kory Paris (Rock Port), with Adrian Wilde (St. Elizabeth) third at 12-3. Landen Crawford (Harrisburg) was fourth at 12-0, with fifth and sixth going at the same height to SCott Hill (Harrisburg) and Kyle Behringer (Archie). Seventh went at 12-0 to Cody Benton (Newburg) and eight to Stpehan Oswald (Harrisburg 10-6).

Boys TJ: Andy Otto (Drexel) lept 43-3.75 to shade Justin Denton (Novinger 43-1.5) for the title. Brentlee Thomas (Rock Port 42-11.25) was third with Andrew Moore (Greenfield) fourth at 42-3.5. Nathan Rigsby (Crocker 42-3.5), Jason Gradel (41-4), Brandon Holtmeyer (St. Elizabeth 41-3) and Taylor Sharp (40-11) completed the top eight.

Boys DT: Dewayne Lewis (Slater) tossed the platter 149-3 to win, With Tyler Werle (Orrick) second at 146-8. Doug McKee (North Nodaway) was third at 141-5. Fourth went to Lorenzo Cobb (Rock Port 141-3) and fifth to Aaron Gammon (Drexel 140-2). Justin Denton (Novinger 133-1), Brad Brundage (Princeton 130-5) and Brian Bowness (South Holt 129-6) completed the medalists.

Girls 800: Taylor Rivera (Miller) won in 2:24.95 with Caitline Masterson (Greenwood) second at 2:25.61 and Hanna Vette (Tarkio) 2:27.48) taking third from Karley Evans (DeKalb 2:28.32) and Leslie Alitz (Rock Port 2:28.50). Jannie Cohee (Polo 2:30.51), Carerra Patterson (Bell City 2:31.12) and Heather Simpson (Newton Harris 2:33.24) completed the top eight.

Girls 1600: Taylor Rivera (Miller) doubled her fun, winning the 1600 in 5:24.88 to go with her 800 crown. Addie Ford (Braymer) was second at 5:26.75 and Leslie Alitz (Rock Port) third at 5:20.87. Amy Gangloff (Wellsville 5:30.87) was fourth and Whitney Hilton (Crane) fifth at 5:35.26. Christine Baugh (Lone Jack 5:35.87), Kelsey Wells (Meadville 5:37.13) and Tasha Sherman (Stewartville 5:38.544) were the remaining medalists.

Girls LJ: Ashlee Miller (Osborn) lept a huge 18-2.25 to win by almost a foot and a half. Melissa McGinley (Albany) was second at 16-7.5 and KAci Sargent (Meadville) was third at 16-3. Fourth was Chetara Watkins (Missouri School for the Deaf 15-10.5) and fifth was Teffany Lane (DeKalb) at 15-10.5. Jen Baker (Harrisburg 15-7.5), Shelby Garrigus (MDY 15-6.25) and Jamie Guffey (Linn County 16-4.5).

Girls PV: Katie Doerhoff (St. Elizabeth) lept 9-0 to win from Jessica Borey (Worth County 8-9). Megan Carter (Meadville) was third at 8-0 on misses from Daneen Wilkerson (St. Elizabeth, fourth) and Ashley Roberts (Harrisburg) and Hanna Vette (Tarkio) tied for fifth at 8-0. Jackie Politte (Rich Hill) was seventh at 8-0 and Jerrica Laire (Newburg) eight at 7-6.
