KANSAS
Shawnee Mission North Relays @ SM District Stadium 5/6/06 - FULL RESULTS

On a still, cool night the Shawnee Mission North Relays continued their tradition of excellence.  The venerable meet, in it's 57th year, matches the top high school squads on the Kansas side of the Kansas City area, plus invites top squads from around the state.  Around fifty schools competed this year, as the meet was held at Shawnee Mission South due to construction at SM North.  While the meet site was a new twist, the old habit of great competition and great marks continued.
Girls 100:  Monique Scott (Olathe East) used a bullet start to gap the field early, and held on for a narrow 13.03 win.  Closing fast were Ashley Smith (Olathe Northwest 13.08) and Jackie Jacobs (Aquinas, Overland Park 13.09).
