Kansas State HS Invitational Highlights included DeAngela McDougald (Junction City) triple winning in the sprints (7.31 55, 26.08 200, and a 57.31 400). Darcie Schmitz (B & B, Baileyville) won the long jump (18-8) and was second in the 55 (7.43) and 200 (27.31). Junction City's Tamera Smith won the mile (5:32.55) and 800 (2:27.57) handily. Abbey James (McPherson) won the PV (10-6). On the boy's side Jake Sharp (Salina Central) won the 55 at 6.61. Liberty MO dominated the distance events with Shawn Etzenhouser (4:27.39) and Kip Hill (4:29.70) going 1-2 in the mile, then Etzenhouser took the 800 (2:00.08) and Hill the 3000 (9:14.39).
