MW#2 Waukesha West girls and MW#5 Whitefish Bay boys dominate their sectionals, but plenty of teams are gunning for them and most of the individual state races each will have plenty of contenders judging by these results.

Div. I, Section I, Rice Lake - Katie Cummings (14:18) leads Hudson 1-2, but Marshfield's 23-second 1-5 spread wins out, 90-94, with River Falls close third.

Div. I, Section III, De Forest - Course record 14:19 for Onalaska's Nicole Burr, ahead of Sauk Prairie's Leah Schroeder (14:26). LaCrosse Central over Middleton for team title, 66-74.

Div I, Section IV, Oshkosh North - Kimberly's Kelly Bogard crushes field in 14:17. West Bend West nips Neenah, 76-81.

Div I, Section V, Arrowhead - Whitefish Bay with 75, over Arrowhead and Wauwatosa West.

Div. I, Section VII, Wisc. Lutheran - South Milwaukee's Lauren Kleppin rolls 14:40; Wisc. Lutheran 70 to win, with Greendale (85) nipping Racing Case (86) and west Allen Hale (86) for second.

Div. I, Section VIII, MW#2 Waukesha West, with 1-2 from Laura Koch and Alyssa Beste (both 14:46), romps with 33 to runner-up Kenosha Bradford's 111.

Div. II, Section I, Unity - Freshman Brea Tinney all alone in 15:04 for Osceola; Ellsworth wins team title.

Div. II, Section II, Black River Falls - Courtney Oldenberg course record 15:45 as West Salem scores just 28 to win by 74.

Div. II, Section IV, Kiel - Close team battle between Ripon (85), Kiel (109), Winneconne (113), Luxenburg (114), Two Rivers (118), and Berlin (129).

Div, II, Section V, River Valley - Madison Edgewood's Jocelyn Burke (14:29) and New Giarus/Monticello's Ashley Beutler (14:39) way out in front of everyone else, but Dodgeville/Mineral Point (33 points, wins by 69) has the depth.

Div. II, Section VI, Mayville - Huge 1:22 margin for Shorewood's Claire Maduza (14:33), leading her team to 12-point win over Sheboygan Falls.

BoysHighlights

Div. I, Section I, Rice Lake - Sean Olson, Menominee (15:42) wins a close race over Sam Braatz, Wausau East (15:43), and Keith Behrman, River Falls (15:47). Hudson dominates with 66 points.

Div. I, Sectional IV, Oshkosh North - Kimberly's Tyler Morey (15:29) leads teammate Kevin Romenesko (15:45) and Fond Du Lac's Nick Thomma (15:58) under 16, and his team to a 16-point win over Neenah.

Div. I, Sectional V, Arrowhead - MW#5 Whitefish Bay rolls behind Steve Markson (1st, 15:42) and Co., scoring 39 to Arrowhead's 63. Mike McFarland (15:44) and Kyle Kluth (16:09) get a 2-3 for Arrowhead.

Div. I, Sectional VI, Verona - Watertown freshman indoor mile record-setter Andrew Perkins wins by 30 in 15:58, while Ft. Atkinson gets past Janesville Craig in the team standings, 73-81.

Div. I, Sectional VII, Wisconsin Lutheran - Wisc. Lutheran's David Pede leads his team to victory over South Milwaukee (49-74), running a 15:43 to beat Greendale's Phil Thomas by almost seven seconds.

Div. II, Sectional V, River Valley - Andrew Lacy's 15:55 paces McFarland to an 11-point win over Monroe.
