1. York, IL - Easily won the Palatine Invitational (2.96m) scoring 57 points and outdistancing second place Palatine by 53 points.  York's top three combination of Eric Dettman, Matt Dettman and David Montgomery all ran strong, finishing in the top ten in the loaded field.  York ran well and proved in their season opener why they are the number one team in the land.

3. Whitefish Bay, WI - Whitefish Bay easily won the Laser Relays, a very interesting meet, beating four of Wisconsin's top 12 best teams.  There were four varsity races, where each team would pair two runners to go against other teams' two runners based on where they placed on the teams depth chart 1-8.  The first race was the 7/8 race, followed by the 5/6 race, 3/4 race and 1/2 race.  WFB #5 runner did not compete for percautionary reasons, but should be back racing next week.  WFB looked good once

4. Warren Central, IN - What a glorious day Saturday was for Warren Central as they competed in the Culver Invitational (5k).  WC ran fantastic from start to finish and came away the winner at perhaps the hardest invitational in Indiana this season.  Many of the top teams in the state were present, including three other Midwest ranked squads.  Junior De'Sean Turner led his squad once again, winning the individual title in 15:27, which is the fastest time ever for a junior on that course and number three all-time, only behind Footlocker All-Americans Nef Araia and Christian Wagner.  WC used a great finish up front, placing three in the top eleven as well as their 4-5 runners stepping up big.
1. De'Sean Turner - 15:27
10. Ondraius Richardson - 16:08
11. Tim Armstrong - 16:09

5. Bishop Chatard, IN - Finished in third place at the Snider Classic (5k, hilly).  BC placed their top three runners in the top six, but then it dropped off drastically after that, as they really missed their number four runner, who was out.  Snider won the overall team title with 98 points, while BC scored 105, matching second place Franklin Central's score, but losing on the sixth man tie-breaker.
2. Andrew Poore - 16:08

7. LaSalle, OH - Took fourth at the Great American Cross Country Festival.  LaSalle looked good, going against some of the best teams in the land.  LaSalle scored 196 points, beating many top ten ranked teams in other regions and proving that they are one of the premier teams in the Midwest.  LaSalle didn't have a top 15 runner like most of the top teams, but used their depth, which was better than any other team in the race, as their number 6-7 runners placed 52-78, which beat out most other teams' number five runners.  LaSalle also had an amazing 30 second split between their top five runners and less than a minute split between 1-7.  Great job LaSalle representing the Midwest.
