Invite. In the last couple of weeks King had easily won two meets, Kingwood
had won its own invite over A&M,
and Cinco Ranch had won the Woodlands Invite over the host team so they
appeared to be the top squads. That was the case as Corpus Christi King
prevailed in a close battle 90-95 over Cinco Ranch. It was tight through
the first 4 for these two teams, but King's 5th man in 35th ahead
of Cinco Ranch's in 43rd sealed the victory. Kingwood placed 3rd
with 121, A&M 4th with 134 and The Woodlands 5th with 161.
