McKinney jr Britany Parker 13-3 PV US#2. Red Oak sr D'Andra Carter repeats throws double with 44-3.25 SP and 163-6 DT.

Dallas Madison's Shawnbrey McNeil 10.57w 100 (+2.7).

Cuero's Brandon James US #5 21.25 200 and runs big anchor for come-from-behind 1:26.69 4x200 win.

Clint Hughes of Livingston leads 3 over 16 with 16-6 PV win.

Brownfield sr Gary Lackey doubles 9:44.09 3200 and 4:21.41 1600.

 

3A GIRLS

Muleshoe's Jessica Withrow wins 4 individual medals � 14.75 100H win, 44.01 300H 2 nd , 5-8 HJ 1 st and 18-8.50w LJ silver.

Canyon's Lauren Simpson takes 800 in 2:15.31, anchors 3:53.79 4x400 winner.

Gonzalez's Ariana Ince breaks own 3A meet record with 12-6 PV.

Sweeney's Dorrie Thompson sweeps 100/200 in 11.92 (+0.2) and 25.03w (+2.7).

Canyon's Morgan Kuykerdall doubles 11:22.25 and 5:13.63 for 3200/600 titles.

4A BOYS

Hotly contested 100 with Crowley 's Dominique Stafford 10.47w (+3.2) overtaking Courtney Thomas of Kilgore 10.49w at about 80m with Chris Tindle of Dickinson at 10.52w in third.

Justin Northwest sr Ryan Varner US #4 21.19 200 was in about 5 th off the turn and really lit up the track the last 50m for the crown.

Lancaster 's Rodney Mims runs 47.86 for 400 title and anchors 3:15.54 4x400 victor.

Two golds for Lockhart sr Chris West for 9:25.06 3200 in the morning and 4:20.46 1600 in the evening.

Dickinson 's Cordera Jenkins storms to a 13.63w 110H win (+3.1) to improve his US #3 wind-aided mark.

Worthing Houston US #5 41.01 4x100 after winning larger school 5A last year.

Johnson Austin's Elliot O'Hare doubles 49-6.75w (+3.2) TJ (all conditions US #7)

 

4A GIRLS

US#1 for Dunbar Ft Worth frosh (!) Victoria Jordan in 11.57 100 (+1.1) win. She then runs US #2 23.84 200 in a great race with Lancaster 's Jonisha Boleware 23.93 US #6.

Dallas Kimball's LeeAndrea Robinson 13.78w 100H (+2.6).

Lancaster sweeps the 3 relays again with US #3 46.36 4x100, US #3 1:36.87 4x200 (all-time US #21), and US #4 3:42.77 4x400 (all-time TX#6).

Connally Pflugerville's Brandi Stanfield doubles US#2 wind-aided 19-11.25 LJ and 40-7 TJ (+1.3).

McKinney 's Britany Parker US #2 all-time US #8 13-3 PV.

Red Oak sr D'Andra Carter repeats in DT/SP. DT US#2 Carter beats US #1 Klein Oak sr Maria Matos 163-6 to 158-3 to break older sister Michelle's 4A state meet record from 2003. Then takes SP with 44-3.25 last throw.
