2/19/2005 ... ATCA All-Comers Meet (Randal Tyson Track Center, Fayetteville,
Arkansas):
The Northside Lady Bears smashed a 26-team field witha 112-74-58
victory over Bryant and Russellville while Lake Hamilton
cruised to a win in the 28-team Boys meet by a score of 64-43-43 over
Fayetteville and Conway.
Teondra Poole (Northside) posted four 2005 Best Performances
(55m,200m,55mh and LJ), two Arkansas All-Time Bests List marks (55m
and 55mh) and one 2005 DyeStat Elite mark (LJ). Crystal Kemp
(Mansfield) showed the Class 3A colors with four Best Performances (55m,
200m, HJ and LJ), two All-Time Best Lists marks (55m and 55mh) and two
DyeStat Elite marks (HJ and LJ). Evan Van Dolah (Mountain Home)
posted three each Best Performances marks and All-Time Best List marks
(55m, 55mh and TJ) while Casey Canada (Lake Hamilton) tallied
three Best Performance marks (55mh, 400m and 4x4 relay) and one All-Time
Best List mark (55mh).
Eric Harris (Conway) just missed a DyeStat Elite mark in winning
the 1600m while Sam James (Bentonville) was just .1 seconds off the
400m DyeStat mark. Once again the pole vaulters put on a show as Spencer
McCorkle (Bryant) led seven boys over 13' with a superb 16' 0"
vault which is good enough for a tie for 4th on the Arkansas All-Time
Best List and a 2005 DyeStat Elite mark (5th best in US). Blake Zuber
(Bryant) and Jeremy Willis (Lake Hamilton) each cleared 14' 6"
for All-Time Best List marks. In the Girls PV, Stacey Yahn (Mena)
and Stephanie Foreman (Lake Hamilton) each cleared 11' 6"
and Jodie Mayes (Fayetteville) cleared 11' 0", all
2005 DyeStat Elite marks. Yahn and Foreman's marks qualify for 5th on
the Arkansas All-Time Best List.
In all there were 223 marks for the 2005 Best Performance Lists (103
Girls/120 Boys), 51 for the All-Time Best Lists (29 Girls/22 Boys) and
13 DyeStat Elite marks (6 Girls/7 Boys).
