The 16th annual Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival will held at the University of Arkansas cross country course in Fayetteville. The course is a combination of grass, cinder and uneven terrain. This meet features quality college and high school races and hosts about 3,000 runners and over 3,000 spectators each year. A portion of the race proceeds will be given to Northwest Arkansas high school cross country programs. In fact, over the years more than $56,000 has been given to local cross country programs.

- Men's Collegiate Race (10K) 9:30 a.m.
- Women's Collegiate Race (6K) 10:30 a.m.
- High School Boy's Open and Boy's Junior High Race (5K) 11 a.m.
- High School Boy's Invitational (5K) 11:30 a.m.
- High School Girl's Open and Girl's Junior High Race (4K) 12 p.m.
- High School Girl's Invitational (4K) 12:30 p.m.

Plus Timothy McLeod is reported to be running. He was 1A state champ for Episcopal Jacksonville FL in 2003 with a track 2-mile PR of 9:06.77 for 13th at Arcadia. He now lives in Arizona.
