Boys - Glades Central takes team title over Godby High, 46-41. Newman sr Jacoby Ford doubles 10.32 100 W+2.6 and 21.25 200, Key West sr Ronald RJ Anderson 47.71 400, Jesuit sr Andrew Biladeau 4:11.63 1600 US#5.
Girls - Florida High win team title with 61 points, Florida jr Kellie Morrison 24.23 200,Florida's Kayla Parker 43.72 300IH and 19-00 LJ, , Florida 47.87 400 Relay.

Ricky Quintana's 2A Highlights

Suncoast junior Lecia Brown sped to a 11.67W, 56.62 100m/200m double.
Florida High(FSU) junior Kellie Morrison finished second in the 100m(11.88W) and won the 200m in a wind aided 24.13.
Pope John Paull II senior, Nicole Schappert won the 1600m/3200m double for the third consecutive year, 5:01.93/11:09.58 bringing her total number of individual state track championships to six and total number of state championships to eight.
Episcopal seventh grader, Katie Traylor , finished third in 11:20.80, juts off her best of 11:13.
Florida High junior, Kayla Parker, won the 300mH and LJ and ranb a leg on 4 x 100m winning relay team. 43.72/19-00/47.87 Florida High 61 Episcopal 54

Cardinal Newman Sr, Jacoby Ford, sped to a 10.32W and a 21.25 200m win.
Glades Central soph Deonte Thompson,10.56W and Chaminade SR, Raymond Jadusingh, 10.57W, also crack 10.60.
Key West SR RJ Anderson sped to a 47.71 win.
Godby frosh, Joseph Frankin edged Belen SR Eddie Arguello for 800m title with a 1:55.86, his second fastest time of the season.
Jesuit SR, Andy Biladeau, won the 1600m in 4:11.63 over Gulliver Prep Bryan Sharkey. Sharkey led at 400m, 58, and 800m, 2:05, before Biladeau pulled away.
Interlachen Sr, Jeremy Criscione outlasted Biladeau, who stumbled with 50m to go, in the homestretch to win in 9:14.75. Biladeau finished second in 9:16.17.
Godby JR, Darius Carroll wins 110m H/300mH double in 14.13 and 38.63.
Glades Central wins 4 x 100m, 42.01 and 4 x400m, 3:18.24.
Crescent City SR, Micky Gilyard and Tavares SR, Jermaine Taylor both clear 6-08, but Gilyard wins over defending state champ on count back.
Key West Sr, Terence Moore soared 23-07.50 to win by 1.50 inches over Zephyrhills JR, Brayn Thomas, 23-06.00.
Glades Central Claims 6th title in school history with a 56-46 win over Godby.

Girls - PK Yonge wins team title 77-73.5 over Dade Christian School. Kings Academy jr Danielle Bradley 2:13.08 800, PK Younge's Valerie Flournoy 14.02 100HH, North Florida Christian fr Michelle Jenije 38-09 TJ.

Ricky Quintana's 1A Highlights

Valerie Flournoy wins four events, Justin Taylor three

PKY junior Valerie Flournoy became third person in Florida state meet
history to win four events. The others were Char Foster and Taheshia
Hanigan. Flournoy was the first ever to win three events on the track and
one field event.
In the 100m, Flournoy was in second place at the 70m mark before the timer
called the race back. After a restart, Flournoy won.
Flournoy 12.42, 25.57, 14.03, 18-04
Flournoy and teammate Shannon Stuckman combined for 74 of PKY's 77 point
total.
PKY wins first girls title in school history
Girls PKY 77, Dade Christian 73.5
Oak Hall's Kittery Neale, a Davidson basketball signee, wins her third
consecutive DT/SP double. She also ran a leg on Oak Hall's second place 4 x
400m team. 40-01, 126-01
King Academy's Hailey Mercer, a soph, comes back to win her second
1600m/3200m double after sitting out her frosh year with a stress fracture.
5:11.29/11:09.40. She also ran a leg on the championship 4 x 800m team and
won the state 1A cross country title last fall.
8th grader, Kayla Hale of Holy Trinity, the defending state champ, finished
second in 11:09.76
King's Academy's, Danielle Bradley sets new state leader with her 2:13.08
win in teh 800m. It was the thrid consecutive time she has won the event.
PKY boys claim first state title since 1965.
PKY 47, Bay Point 43
St. Joseph's Justin Taylor triples. Taylor becomes first athlete since
1982(Billy Convey, Ransom Everglades) to win the 1600m/800m/3200m triple.
4:18.20,1:55.47, 9:31.47. Trailing by a substantial margin on the last lap
of his final event, the 3200m, Taylor turned in 60s last circuit to win in
the homestretch over Holy Trinity's Austin Joiner. Joiner has finished
runner-up the last three years by a TOTAL margin of 2.4 seconds.
Graceville's James Hughes and NW Christian's Elan Daviglus top 6-08, but
Hughes wins on fewer misses.
