Conference Meets

Northern 4A Conference in Casper - 5400ft on a rolling golf course. The weather was perfect; 60 degrees and sunny. Andrew Jones of Gillette dominated again with a 16:24 5k. Second place was Kevin Hale of Sheridan with a 16:46 and in third place was T.J Goddard of Gillette with a 16:47. Gillette took the team title with only 21 points (1-3-4-5-8-9-10)!

In the Girls race, Sarah Balfour of Natrona High School decisively won by 35 seconds with an 18:36.9 5k making her third appearance on the Dyestat Elite List. Nikki Peterson came in second with a 19:12 with Gretchen Fagley trailing 6 seconds behind in 19:18. Gillette won the team title here, too, with 42 points. This is the 16th consecutive year that Gillette has swept both the boys and girls team titles!
