The Wisconsin state meet regionals and sectionals were held this week. The state meet will be held on June 6 and 7 in La Crosse.

Senior Chris Solinsky will attempt to win 3-individual titles in La Crosse as he advanced in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter runs.

Brookfield Central senior Jon Doble and Winneconne senior Luke Hoenecke took the yearly 400 meter lead with their 49.0 wins at their respective sectionals. A hot 800 meter race at the D2 sectional in Winneconne saw juniors Joe Pierre (Green Bay Preble) and Sam Langkau (Northland Pines) run 1:54.6 and 1:54.7 respectively. The top three 300 meter hurdles times were run at the Germantown sectional as Joel Zalewski (38.3), Ray Bratchett
