Cross Country was spectacular in the Dallas area this week. The area showcased its elite teams and individuals. Scott MacPherson (Plano) devastated the competition at the Allen Invitational. He easily cruised to a 1:15 second win in 15:22. Not to be outdone Logan Sherman (Richardson Pearce) won the Molina Invitational by 1:24 with a quick 15:28.

The elite teams competed in the Grapedash in Grapevine. The Keller Boys (5A #5) solidified their ranking by easily outdistancing Flower Mound by 46 points. Keller placed 6 in the top 10. In the Girls division Marcus (5A #9) edged Highland Park (4A #1) by 11 points. Other Highlights of the week had Cedar Park boys (5A #2) edging out Coppell (5A #6) at the AISD Invitational 27-38. A&M Consolidated upset Pearland (5A #5) and Clearlake (5A #10) at the Rice Invitational.
