5k won by 45 seconds and was disappointed. She wanted to break 18 minutes
on the normally fast course, but it was turned slow by mud and cold weather.
St. Xavier Cincinnati boys 47 and Hudson girls
89 won the team titles. Strongsville's Mike Connolly 16:28
was the boys individual winner.
The 16 Team boy's meet had 4 of the top 10 State
ranked teams in Ohio. Cincinnati St. Xavier won with
47 points followed by Akron Copley with 80.
Strongsville's Mike Connolly was the winner in 16:28
over Balmat from St. Xavier in 16:35.
The 16 Team Girls field was won by Hudson with 89 and
North Canton Hoover second with 96. The Individual
winner was Maggie Infield from Cleveland Hts. Beaumont
with 18:27 winning by 45 seconds over Chambers from
Magnificat. The girls field also featured 4 of the top
10 State ranked teams.
Boy's Varsity:
Cincinnati St. Xavier had a very strong finish on this very muddy
course and Strongsville's Mike Connolly was the winner in 16:28.
