DONNA ON THE SIDE - 2002 MARYLAND STATE MEET
Part 1 -- Part 2 -- Part 3

The Maryland State Meet takes place on the campus of Hereford High School in the rolling Maryland countryside. It's got to be one of the hardest courses in the country with the very steep "Dip" Hill. This year the weather was beautiful, partly cloudy with a morning temperature in the 60's. It's such an exciting time for the runners that the anticipation keeps them up the night before thinking about the challenging run they will face the next day. Parents and Grandparents are prepped: "Don't expect much today. I just want to finish." But when it's over how tired and so pleased they are!

Now, on to the meet.
