The largest meet in southern Idaho went off this week in Idaho Falls(Tiger-Grizz).
The top two runner in Idaho finally squared off. Matt Knoff (Highland)
run away from the pack early and went on to an easy victory over David
Jankowski (Skyline). David did lead his Skyline team to the team victory
over cross-town rivals Idaho Falls. Preston and Firth confirmed there
statis as the 3A and 2A boys teams to beat in the State with solid performances.
In the girls race Karley Meikle continues to shine, leading a very much
improved Hillcrest team to the team victory over Skyline. Salmon a 3A
school has come out of nowhere this year and upset the defending 3A State
champs Preston. This should be a battle with State just three weeks away.
