#1 Brookwood Boys sent their 2nd team and beat state #2 Parkview by 6, #3
North Gwinnett 3rd with 115

In the Girls Race, Parkview turned the tables on Walton from 2 weeks ago
with 3 in the top 15 to win 70-73. North Gwinnett ran without state #2
Kathleen Turchin who had a fever of 102 on Friday.

Berry-Darlington Invitational

5000m, gently rolling, soft surface, 2 loops
90 schools in 6 varsity races

Brookwood's nationally-ranked 1st team (#19) was upset as Hoover, Alabama
defender, put 4 on their #1 to win by 8. State #1 individual Sean Reilly
of Pope outkicked early race leader Bobby Reyes in the day's fastest time
of 16:05.

On the girls side. Lakeside looked dominant in AAAAA putting 5 in the top
11 to win by over 70 points.

Marist's regionally ranked girls were upset by Westminster in the AAAA/AAA
race.

Additionally, the A defender Lauren Blankenship upset the state's #1 ranked
runner Christy Brewer of Marist. The new #1 Kristin Heffelfinger of Walton
was running 18:51 at the North Gwinnett Invitational.
