Ryder Leary of Jacksonville Bishop Kenny runs 15:31 solo effort to win
district meet. US #19 Bishop Kenny wins district title. They wil face
Tallahassee Chiles next week for regionals and the following week for the
state titles. Bishop Kenny's wins have come by mere points.
Steve Hassen runs easy 16:04 to win district meet. Sam Vasquez, running
easily, finishes third in 16:32. The two will face each other three more
weeks.
Jennifer Barringer of Oviedo runs 18:21 to win district. Laura Bowerman of
Tampa King runs 19:58 to win easily. Courtney Hall of Bishop Kenny runs best
time ever to win district in 18:51. Nicole Schappert of Boca Raton Pope John
Paul II out for season. Boca Raton Spanish River, Jacksonville Bishop Kenny and Miami, Our Lady of
Lourdes win district team titles.
