This past weekend saw a light schedule with the 29th Annual Cyclone
Invitational in Russellville (AR) being the headliner event. Patricia
Bradbury, a senior from Class 5A Lake Hamilton, took top honors over the
4K course in a brisk 15:05 to win easily over runner-up Janie Blackmon
(Russellville freshman) at 15:28. Bradbury led her team to a 30-75
victory over Class 5A Fayetteville in the 10-team meet. In Boys action,
Fayetteville nipped Lake Hamilton 51-56 as Burt Hicks (Lake Hamilton
senior) toured the tough 5K course in 17:09 for the win.

Top ranked Rogers competed in the Oklahoma State University Cowboy
Jamboree in Stillwater with the Boys taking home a 3rd place trophy in
the strong 27-team field. Liberty (MO) won the meet by 32-99-158-199
over Jenks (OK), Rogers and Edamond (OK) Memorial. Senior Zach Hines led
the Mounties over the extremely challenging 5K course at 20th in
16:44. Sophomore Staci Papageorge paced the Lady Mounties with a 17th
place finish over the 2 Mile course in a respectable 12:11 clocking as
Rogers finished 8th in the 23-team field behind winner Blue Valley
Springs (KS).
